OREGON

Thanks to Gary we were able to fly up to Oregon instead of drive. Although I felt I was prepared to drive, I fear my anxiety would have taken over once we hit the road.
Well we decided to go ahead with the coast. We knew the weather was supposed to be rainy, we hoped it would only be a little, but - it wasn't.
We stopped at the store to buy a few snacks, and some medicine for my insane car sickness. Here are all the kids in the cart. As we were leaving the store a lady said to me "are those all yours?" I assumed she ment the kids, I replied no and went on my way.

It was fun to see the ocean, and it was fun, being at the ocean during a rain storm. The kids had fun, until they were soaked through with rain. Big Spencer kept them intertained.
This is a seagull that was so excited to see what was going on inside Spencers car.

On the way home we stoped at the Redwoods, man those trees are big. It is crazy how they grow next to, around, and with in existing trees. Here is Van with one of his ever so cheesy poses.
Aaron has sent me pictures of the snow filled Bountiful, I think I would rather be in rainy, rainy weather than the dumb snow. I hate the snow, especially in April. We miss daddy, and hope he is not partying to much with out us.

I hope we have provided an adequate trip or getaway for you guys. It has been fun for us. Come back as frequently and stay as long as you would like.
Reality and household chores are just around the corner :(

Kim- Great photos of everyone; looks like you made the very best of the weather. Those cousins just love being together. Gary raved about the dinner Kristi made for everyone the night he flew you up there. I guess Van tested out the "airplane potty" on the way up- nice to know it works. Aaron had some dinner invitations but he seemed busy working on your garden boxes.
