The moment you have all been waiting for...

BEFORE
As you may have read in an earlier post, this summer - in JULY - we re did our roof. Although I am forever scared from this experience, yesterday we got the final finishing touches added (gutters, soffit, and fascia). I am so excited to have this project complete and super excited about the way it looks. Thanks again to all who helped with labor, watching the boys, and cleaning the house!

I like the black shingles.
We have a few big home-improvement projects that we need to get done. It is hard choking up the money for something like this because it doesn't really affect you. I am sure your roof was still working, and now, after lots of labor and money, it is still working. There is nothing exciting about that.
We need the mistletoe out of our trees, but our lives are getting along just fine with it there. Eventually this year we will prune the trees and get rid of all of that mistletoe. We will have to pay money, and put in loads of work. Afterwards our lives will go on just as they did before. Yippidee do dah!
I was just calling around to find out how much it is going to cost us. That must be why I have so much to say on the matter.
But your house does look great with the new shingles.

It looks BEAUTIFUL! Houses are indeed a necessary evil and yours looks great. I am happy your project is complete.
